Dr. John Kannamthanam is a renowned Syriac scholar from the Eparchy of Palai. He holds his PhD in the subject. Currenctly he serves as the Chairman of the East Syriac Learning center of the Eparchy of Palai and as the member of advisory committie for St. Ephrem's Eccumenical Research Center (SEERI), Kottayam.
